Just so you know, your boy, Troy, after saying publicly multiple time he will not join the Freedom Caucus AND will sign the loyalty oath, DID in fact stand up last night when all candidates were asked who will join the Freedom Caucus. Not good! And sadly you and this party support a guy who publicly says he will not support the most conservative part of our state house THEN he lies to everyone and stands to the question! Everyone saw it and many know what he did and it will go everywhere. It is certain he will sellout in Columbia if he does not have the guts to be truthful in front of a couple hundred people. And you will support a guy who wants to make the votes in Columbia private???

    Hello Jeff,

I don’t believe we have met and you most definitely do not have your facts correct so let me help you through the rhetoric…

    1. I am nobody’s boy. By this statement I assume you are meaning “picked” or “recruited”. If so, perhaps you are referring to one of my opponents and are just confused. If you would like to know what inspired me to run I am happy to share it with you. Feel free to reach me at 864-714-6915

    2. Please check your facts. At no time privately or on record have I ever stated that I will not join the Freedom Caucus. The fact is I said I would not commit to any caucus until I had the opportunity to speak with and hear from my constituents as to what they would want from their representative. I do believe the Freedom Caucus leader, Adam Morgan, just had a video go viral stating that one should listen to their constituents above everything else. Am I incorrect?

    3. I did answer a question in the last debate incorrectly. I did not interpret the question as it was intended. That evening a constituent challenged me on my answer at which time I realized that I had made a mistake. Please visit my Facebook page Elect Troy-SC House of Representatives District 28 and review the on video message I posted April 5th.

In closing sir, I am a man of my word, did exactly as I said I would do by spending time with my fellow voters and learning what they would want out of their representative. In addition I am humble enough to admit when I make a mistake and am fully transparent about it.

I would encourage you to reach out to me 864-714-6915 in the future with your concerns rather than post misinformation or better yet come on out tomorrow to the meet and greet.

    Best Regards,

    Troy Prosser

All, this is a good example of how not to engage with candidates. I want to thank ALL Candidates for not giving into slander and intimidation.
