GREENVILLE, SC — March 26, 2025
The Greenville County Republican Party (GCRP) is going on record with its support for State Treasurer Curtis Loftis. The statement he released yesterday sums up the political climate in our state, when he stated, “the real danger comes from a relentless, politically motivated attack on my office.” Loftis, a
popular Republican and native of Lexington County, was elected for his fourth consecutive term by The People of South Carolina in 2022.

The GCRP appreciated the Feb 27 detailed response that Lo is issued, noting how the comptroller’s original entry caused confusion; that no money was ever missing; and there was a recommended solution to fix the accounting error. “The relentless attacks on elected conservatives is becoming a
national pastime,” says outgoing GCRP Chair Yvonne Julian. “But The People are wising up to the tactics of those who repeat baseless claims in order to promote false narratives. It’s all just politically motivated grandstanding.”

Loftis is scheduled as a featured speaker at the Greenville County Republican Party Convention on April 14, at the Greenville Convention Center, where the keynote speaker is Steve Bannon, founder of “War Room” on Real America’s Voice.
