GCRP Rule 9 A: “Annual Budget. An annual budget shall be prepared by the officers and presented to Executive Committee for approval no later than February 10th of every year.”
Yes, this Rule is a bit “unclear” (as with most of these old Rules) as to when the budget has to be voted on and finally approved. Does the budget have to be presented and voted on by February 10th, or just presented to the EC Body by February 10th and voted on at the next meeting? As we are doing with other needed clarifications, expect a proposed RULE CHANGE (& vote) on this Rule as well to better define the process. We hope to do one or two RULE CHANGE votes at every meeting to allow people the opportunity to consider these matters over the next year and a half before permanent changes are made at the 2027 GCRP County Convention in April 2027. – Jeff Davis, Chairman 843-901-8036 (text / cell)
